The Renaissance of UAE, was inspired to pay tribute on the 45th National Day celebration of the United Arabs Emirates. This is an initiative of ZeeArts Community in collaboration of Crowne Plaza Dubai, at the Café restaurant on Monday 5th December at 7hpm. We had the privileged to have as our Chief guest H.E Mr AbdulQader Al Rais, the renown Emirati artist and H.E Mr Khalil Abdulwahid, the Art Manager at Dubai Culture.
Yesterday, UAE was a land of desert inhabited by proud and nomadic Bedoiun tribes, fisher man, and famers. The Bedouin were known for their resourcefulness and independence and their code of hospitality continues today among the modern Emirati population who show great respect and honor their guest.
Today, with the vision, pasion and belief of Sheikh Khalifa Bon Zayed Al Nayan and his Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE is one of the major International tourist destination and business hub.
Our three artists, Hamed AlDerei from UAE, Abdulhamid Alttar from Palestine and Ali Pecen from Turkey, has midasly presented their stunning artwork that captured the PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE of the UAE. They have travelled in different place in the UAE, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Umm Al Quaim, Sharjah and Dubai to beautifully illustrate the Renaissance of the UAE. This exhibition was curated by the artist activist from the ZeeArts Community, Zaahirah Muthy.
Paul Schenk, Resident Manager of Crowne Plaza Dubai states: “We are very happy about our new collaboration with Zeearts and we are honoured to be the host of this beautiful exhibition. It is our aim to support local artists in the UAE and to show our guests what great talent we have in this country. We thank Zeearts for their support in making this event happen and we sincerely thank H.E. Mr AbdulQader Al Rais and H.E Mr Khalil AbdulWahid for giving us the honour to officially open the exhibition last night. We are looking forward to many further exhibitions in 2017.
