Atelier Little Picasso

ZeeArts Community in collaboration with The Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers, launched the Little Picasso – Charity Art Project to support Senses Residential and Day Care Centre for Special Needs.

More than 20 artists activist from ZeeArts Community gathered for four art atelier with 15 special needs children from Senses every Saturday morning during the month of May to mentor and paint together under the theme of Love, Kindness, Honesty, Generosity and Gratitude with the aiming to raise funds for Senses Centre where more than 45 masterpieces will be displayed for sale in the prestigious Pullman Dubai JLT hotel lobby during the holy month of Ramadan with an official launch of “Little Picasso” Art Exhibition held on Wednesday, 8 June 2016.

This exhibition showcases children’s art pieces discovered during their experiments with colours, drawing, imagination and movement. In these art sessions, the little artists were able to create dramatic images, telling a story that is uniquely their own.  The results of their work often surprised even the mentor artists themselves.  “It is the most effective route to increase self-awareness and give a powerful voice that allows others to discover the creativity within each child.” said one of the art activist, ‘Manisha Gaur ’ . The artists involved in these sessions found themselves overwhelmed and enlightened. The entire atmosphere was brimming with affection, warmth, compassion, love and connectivity. Not just the paintings but new relationships were also made.

This momentous month makes people conscientious about the way they treat others and reminds them of the significance of making sacrifices and putting others before themselves. It is about being responsible and contributing to the overall good of society. Which we believe we did successfully in collaboration with Pullman Dubai JLT and wrapped up this beautiful project.”

Commenting on the Little Picasso initiative, Mr. Fadeel Wehbe, the General Manager of Pullman Dubai JLT said: “Weare thrilled to be part of this initiative,giving back to the community and supporting Senses in an interactive manner. I would like to commend the volunteer-artists who joinedus for this project -for their support and willingness to make a difference in these children’s lives. We at Pullman will strive to ensure that the Little Picassoproject will be held annually as part of our brands promise to support local art.”

Khalil Abdulwahed, International relationship Manager from Dubai Culture and Arts Authority quoted: it is with great pleasure that I am associating myself as an Emirati artist to the Little Picasso Charity project, during this holy month of Ramadan.

This is such a beautiful initiative of ZeeArts Community to involve local artists to engage with special needs children. I would like to highlight the hard work and dedication of Zaahirah Muthy, the founder of ZeeArts Community for being herself an artist and acting as a role model to encourage others to give back to the community. The best part of this project is a vivid model, on how Arts is making a difference in the life of people through expressing creativity, emotions, and build a friendly relationship.

In this initiative to honor diversity, and to celebrate holy month of Ramadan, the ZeeArts Community in collaboration with the Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers hosted the opening of the Little Picasso exhibition a mega event was followed by a scrumptious Iftar gathering for all the artists and the children. The ambience of The Pullman Hotel JLT was warm, classy and relaxed.  The guests were greeted with smile by the courteous and extremely competent hotel staff. Food was traditional but well varied, plentiful, delicious, beautifully displayed and very, very well executed. Lots of dishes with a vibrant spread awaited the guests.

The Paintings that are showcased in The Little Picasso Exhibition narrates  the experience of joys, of creative exploration, discovery, fun, laughter and foundation of new relationships. Something precious that you would love to own.

20/20/20 Art Community


The Art Book 20/20/20 Art Community

After the fabulous atelier of 20-20-20 Art Community held in March 2015 at Dubai Special Needs Center; where Torkia Mahmoul and Zaahirah Muthy the founder of ZeeArts Community brought 20 artists to mentor 20 special needs children to create 20 artwork; On 30th May, we had the silent auction of those stunning paintings at Al Serkal Foundation.

Women’s Peak Performance Summit Exhibition


The Annual International Women’s Peak Performance Summit, organized by two wonderful women Anna Heystek and Julie Lewis; hosted by the Eastern Mangroves Hotel and Spa by Anantara, in Abu Dhabi, endorsed by the Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau and brought to you by Esc@pe Events. The Summit welcomes both women and men who believe in the power of investing in their personal development and enjoy connecting with a diverse multi-national group of pro-active individuals. This high energy Summit was totally interactive and feature 7 powerful master classes to cover 7 peaks led by experienced professionals in their given field. The Seven Peaks are: Finance, Career, Physical, Spiritual, Mental, Social and Environment.

ZeeArts Community presented 15 women artists coming from different part of the world with different experience to exhibit their stories through an art exhibition during the summit; with the honorary international Emirati artist Fatma Lootha with a remarkable talent, Tahira Fida from Oman, Jamila Al- Ansari from Qatar, the artist of the year 2016 Zaahirah Muthy, the awarded artist Ruzisa Simonic, the international artist Angelika Dahlhaus from Germany followed by other local artists, Gihan Fawzy, Asha Lewis, Dalia Adel, Seren Khalaf, Farnaz Faridfar, Amal Serhan, Naureen Usmani, Zainab Elazzazy, Shiba Khan and the artist calligrapher Ria Sharma.

World Art Dubai 2016


DSC_5600.jpgZaahirah Muthy, the artist activist uses her feet to paint graciously on two master piece canvas during the 2nd Edition of World Art Dubai at Dubai World Trade Center. The Power of freedom was the theme of her public show. Not content solely with painting in her studio, however, Zaahirah also takes his art to the people with live painting performances at upscale events in order to support a community cause


She passionately curated the show together with a live music. The outfit was inspired by the exotic island from where she come from. The first Canvas was painted with the vivid fuchsia colors, showing feminine side with bright abstract orange line. This color represents compassion, nurturing and love. It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing.

Day 2, My blue world was at the helm, Zaahirah is known for her Blue collection since 2015. Her feet pleasantly dance on the white canvas splashing different tones of the blue to create the effect of textures.

Arty Mauritius Independence Day

ZeeArts Community- MAURITIUS in collaboration with Super U-Flacq- Flacq Coeur de Ville team up to organize an Arty festival to celebrate the Mauritius Independence Day, where we brought Mauritian artists painters and sculptors from different corner of the island through diverse categories including aspiring children artists, emerging artists and renown Mauritian artists to celebrate the independence day as a first initiative of ZeeArts-Mauritius. The visitors of Super U, took the pride to stop and interact with the artists where they  had the opportunity to experience the artists painting live. It was indeed an electrifying day where the artists were buzzing  like rain droplet everywhere at Super U which was indeed transform to an art studio and later on typical Mauritian gallery.

The known history of Mauritius begins with its discovery by Arabs, followed by Europeans and its appearance on maps in the early 16th century. Mauritius was successively colonized by the Dutch, the French and the British, and became independent in 1968. In 2016, Mauritian artists celebrate and pay tribute to the beautiful island by playing with the four Mauritian flag colors (red, blue, yellow and green)

International Women’s Day 2016


ZeeArts Community celebrates Women’s Day by gathering beautiful women coming from various cultures and different part of the world with diverse profession through an arty live painting to celebrate womanhood at Zabeel Park, a mesmerizing garden in Dubai; Yet the theme this year is to #Pledge for Parity and we decided that our #pledge  is dedicated for something that is deep to us on a personal level and ultimately expressing our pledge on the white canvas through creativity. This initiative has created a significant impact as we brought both women artists while others never touch a brush since years. The interaction between them enable us to share our experiences through a mutual understanding and dialogue.

IMG_2739As we were painting live in a public garden, we had visitors who was curious and stop by to appreciate the arts. It was a memorable and different afternoon for all of us. Congratulation to all those wonderful women…Happy Women’s Day not for a day but everyday.

Artist of the Year 2016-Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts


Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and member of the Supreme Council of the UAE; Al Qasimi Foundation organized the 4th Annual Ral Al Khaimah Art Festival on 19th to 25th February in Ras Al Khaimah and bring 76 local and International artists together. The event was opening with a glittering red carpet at Bayan Tree Al Wadi on 19th Feb where eminent personalities of Ras Al Khaimah attended and followed by the Film Screen and Award Ceremony on 20th at RAK Chamber of Commerce with an Exhibition at the RAK museum till 25th February.


Zaahirah Muthy, a Mauritian artist activist and Founder of ZeeArts ommunity enter the registration process and submit her work for the first time. She attended the glamourous Red Carpet without knowing that she will be the winner. During the Award night, to her great bewilderment she won the ARTIST OF THE YEAR AWARD 2016 from the hand of the Director of Al Qasimi Foundation Mr. Suqrat Abdulla Besher and the Ms Aisha Abdullah the Emirati Film maker.

The Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research was established in 2009 to aid in the social, cultural, and economic development of Ras Al Khaimah, a northern emirate in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Established through Emiri decree, the Foundation is considered a non-profit, quasi-governmental organization and is the visionary initiative of Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. His Highness places great value on education and research, and the Al Qasimi Foundation was created to generate a world-class body of research on Ras Al Khaimah and the broader UAE region, develop local capacity in the public sector, and engage the community in its work.
